• Key document for 2020-2021 school year student: JW201 or JW202 form + Admission Notice + Return school certificate + Vaccination certificate
• Key document for 2019 or before school year student: Return school certificate + Vaccination certificate

Difficulty level: Easy

Purpose: Short-term study (Study less than 180 days)
Apply X2 visa - Still Not Available

If a valid student residence permit is available to travel in & out of China?
A: Starting from 00:00 on August 24, 2022 (Wednesday), foreign student can travel in&out of China with valid study residence permit.

Purpose: Economic, Trade, Scientific or Technological
Apply M visa
Key document: Company invitation letter + vaccination certificate
Family accompany: Not available
Difficulty level: Normal

For APEC card holder
Starting from 00:00 on August 24, 2022 (Wednesday), foreigners holding valid APEC business travel cards to engage in business activities in China can enter China with valid APEC card directly!

Purpose: Work
Apply Z visa
Key document: Notification of Foreign Work Permit (NFWP) or Valid Foreign Work Permit (FWP)+ vaccination certificate
Family accompany: Available
Difficulty level: Easy

If a valid working residence permit is available to travel in & out of China?
A: No problem to travel in & out of China with valid working residence permit!

Purpose: Family reunion
Foreigner (who is working in shanghai)'s family member
Apply S1 or S2 visa
Key document: Relationship certificate + vaccination certificate

Foreigner who have Chinese family member
Apply Q1 or Q2 visa
